CLEVELAND, OH – Democratic Party activist and Cleveland Heights resident Susanne “Sue” Dyke markets herself on social media as the founder of Mobilize the Vote NEO. A search of state and federal websites that maintain records of authorized interactions between political contributing entities and donors don’t show her so-called “grassroots organization” as being registered to receive and spend campaign funds. Like so many “grassroots organizations” disseminating political information to influence Cleveland area elections, Dyke’s is as fake as many of the others.

As an 11th Congressional District candidate for Congress, I saw my name in a 2022 general election voter guide Dyke’s self-proclaimed grassroots organization published and distributed that falsely claims I caused chaos on a city council. The single elected office I have held was mayor of East Cleveland from January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2009. I have not been elected to a municipal legislative authority. There is no official source for her false information.
I have not been involved in any scandals nor do I lie about my opponents as her voters guide falsely reports. What she got partially right was that I do not support arming and funding Ukrainian neo-Nazis. She published that I don’t support helping Ukraine. I am a loyal American and United States Air Force veteran who has pledged allegiance exclusively to the United States of America. I don’t support any nation or its citizens but mine.

Dyke’s Mobilize the Vote NEO 2022 general election voters guide claims the false information she’s disseminating about me and other Republican candidates comes from published sources. My self-written biography is published at the bottom of every story I have published on EJBNEWS. My website is where I have also published information about my thoughts and research on numerous topics. EJBNEWS should have been the first published source Dyke checked before recklessly disseminating her maliciously false information through what on paper is a sham political contributing entity.
Mobilize the Vote NEO appears to exist, officially, as a “.org” domain name Whois identifies as being registered with GoDaddy on February 28, 2021. Mobilize the Vote NEO is not registered as a political contributing entity with the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections. It is not registered as a fictitious name, business entity or a non-profit with Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose. It is not registered as a campaign committee with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC).
What Mobilize the Vote NEO appears to be is a website which features a “donate” link that connects potential donors to an INDIVISIBLE page that’s affiliated with Act Blue Civics; a 501.c4 non-profit. Donations to 501.c4 non-profits are not tax deductible.

Dyke’s published goal is to fight “Trumpism” and to turn northeast Ohio “blue” with Progressive, Democratic candidates pushing their “bold” agenda. There is no “about” page on her website. Text inserted in the theme describes the Mobilizethevote.org domain name as a grassroots organization that seeks to “build trust” with voters.
According to Influence Watch, INDIVISIBLE is Act Blue’s “pass-through” fundraising platform for Leftist, Communist-leaning Progressive politics. Act Blue Civics through INDIVISIBLE allows individuals like Dyke to set-up campaign fundraising pages to receive online donations in exchange for a 3.95 percent cut of the contribution. The agreement is explained by ActBlue in the following words.
“While ActBlue is organized as a political committee, we act as a conduit for individual contributions made through our platform — we do not make contributions ourselves. We process and send grassroots donations to the campaigns and organizations that use our fundraising platform.”
Under “the fine print” that defines INDIVISIBLE and Act Blue’s terms and conditions, pass-through organizations like Mobilize the Vote NEO and its donors are advised that “political contributions are governed by campaign finance laws.”
ActBlue makes its best efforts to ensure that all contributions made on the ActBlue site are in accordance with these laws. Nonetheless, you have final responsibility for ensuring your own compliance.
According to Dyke’s Mobilize the Vote NEO’s “INDIVISIBLE” donation page, the unregistered grassroots organization she founded is allegedly volunteer run. Her website explains how “donations support the direct costs of our activism in the Cleveland area including materials and supplies for voter registration and engagement, postcards, communication tools, website maintenance, posters, art supplies, snacks, tshirts, clipboards, transportation, and more.”

Dyke’s Mobilize the Vote NEO has not filed any statutorily-mandated reports which identify her donors by name, address and amount; nor has she reported the “direct costs” of her activism as expenditures to the Ohio Secretary of State in accordance with Section 3517.10 of the Ohio Revised Code. It is an unsuspended state general law that requires political contributing entities collecting and spending money on campaign activities to file reports 12 days before and 38 days after primary and general elections no later than 4 p.m.
“Every campaign committee, political action committee, legislative campaign fund, political party, and political contributing entity that made or received a contribution or made an expenditure in connection with the nomination or election of any candidate or in connection with any ballot issue or question at any election held or to be held in this state to file, on a form prescribed under this section or by electronic means of transmission as provided in this section and section 3517.106 of the Revised Code, a full, true, and itemized statement, made under penalty of election falsification, setting forth in detail the contributions and expenditures, not later than four p.m. of the following dates …”
Without state authorization banks won’t let Dyke open a bank account under the assumed name of Mobilize the Vote NEO. If Dyke doesn’t cash a donor’s check she receives from the Act Blue/INDIVISIBLE platforms within 60 days Act Blue keeps the money. It’s in the fine print.

According to Act Blue’s 2021-2022 FEC filing, there are 10 separate transactions in the name of “Sue Dyke” of Cleveland Heights totalling $3425.00 between April 2021 and May 2022. Act Blue did not report to the FEC that it received donations for or made any disbursements to Mobilize the Vote NEO. Dyke is identified as each donation’s “source.”
The transactions between Act Blue and Dyke initially appear to be reported as earmarks from Tim Ryan, Emilia Sykes and Vanessa Enoch’s campaigns. All Democrats. The largest earmark is either to or from Ryan’s campaign for $2500. There’s a $500 earmark to Field Team 6.
Act Blue’s report to the FEC identify Dyke as being an unemployed donor. Act Blue’s FEC records don’t make it clear if Dyke is donating her own money in her own name; or if it’s the pass-through funds she received through her INDIVISIBLE page from others.

What’s clear from her documented activities is that Dyke founded a grassroots organization to raise and spend funds that help her interfere with the northeast Ohio campaigns of Republican candidates for elected office. She’s raising and spending campaign funds beyond the law; and using the unreported money to spread malicious, vote suppressing lies against Americans. Dyke’s beyond the law conduct is why Americans like me describe Progressive Democrats as Communists.
Congress enacted the Communist Control Act on August 24, 1954 and outlawed the Communist Party. In describing the characteristics of Communists, Congress chose the following words: “Unlike political parties, the Communist Party acknowledges no constitutional or statutory limitations upon its conduct or upon that of its members.” In other words Communists, like Progressive Democrats, don’t believe they’re required to live by our constitution and laws.
The constitutional and statutory limitations on Dyke is that her Mobilize the Vote NEO grassroots organization is required to be registered with the state. She’s required to report her donations and expenditures in the manner spelled out by laws. Voters interacting with Mobilize the Vote NEO agents should see its vote suppressing lies and unreported fundraising and expenditures as subversive.
You brought this up when we met in person. I am so glad you did and that I was able to read more about it. My daughter has been getting call from this organization…..but they have my phone number by mistake. She probably signed something that put her on their list (I’m still working with her ), THANK YOU for making me aware.
