Prosecutor’s office backs Sandra Morgan’s ridiculous claim that convicted ex-Mayor Brandon King will remain suspended until his appeal

Sandra Morgan added to an already messy public image of the city's officers when she chose to misinterpret a state law that told her to leave the mayor's office when Brandon King was convicted. She said the courts will decide but had filed no action, as a usurper, to keep an elected office she was trying to steal until the November 2025 election.

CLEVELAND, OH – In order to sell her creative lie that the office of East Cleveland’s mayor is not vacant, and that convicted ex-mayor Brandon L. King is still under suspension until his appeal rights are exhausted, mayor’s office usurper Sandra F. Morgan has to direct employees to place the convict back on the payroll of a city in fiscal emergency.  It’s the only way her lie will work. If the claims in the quo warranto Cuyahoga County Prosecuting Attorney Michael O’Malley filed against East Cleveland Mayor Lateek R. Shabazz for Morgan are to be believed, the private citizen usurping the…

Mayor Lateek Shabazz files quo warranto claim to remove usurping ex-interim Mayor Sandra Morgan from city hall

For the second time since he was appointed to East Cleveland City Council in 2023, Mayor Lateek R. Shabazz is dealing with a usurper claiming a right to his office. For nearly a year Mark McClain claimed he was Brandon King's "legally recognized" councilman and received Shabazz's wages. Now Sandra Morgan is stealing his wages and claiming to be East Cleveland's mayor after he was sworn into the job from the council presidency by Councilor Dr. Patricia Blochowiak.

CLEVELAND, OH – It is not difficult to see how former interim East Cleveland Mayor Sandra Morgan misread Cuyahoga County Probate Court Judge Anthony Russo’s instructions on how long she could remain in office during convicted ex-Mayor Brandon Lee King’s suspension.  In a June 1, 2025 response to now Mayor Lateek Shabazz’s Facebook announcement that he’d been administered the oath of office to assume the job King was removed from on his way to prison, Morgan posted, “You are NOT the mayor!  The Supreme Court will decide who holds the seat until the election.” The “until the election” response from…

Clerk of Council Stacey White certifies Brandon King’s conviction and the end of Interim East Cleveland Mayor Sandra Morgan’s time in office

CLEVELAND, OH – Legendary Cleveland inventor Garrett Morgan’s granddaughter understood by the way she identified herself as “Interim Mayor Sandra Morgan” that her time in office would not extend past now convicted ex-mayor Brandon L. King’s suspension, or until he was found innocent or guilty. King was indicted last October 10, 2024 and was suspended from holding office as mayor by the Supreme Court of Ohio pursuant to Section 3.16 of the Ohio Revised Code on January 30, 2025.  The heading of the state law is  “Suspension of local official charged with felony relating to official conduct.” Morgan was appointed…

Fake East Cleveland prosecutors using “malicious prosecution waivers” to conceal their color of law conspiracies against rights

CLEVELAND, OH – Attorney Heather McCollough exposed an unconstitutional tactic she has been using to protect rights-violating East Cleveland police and prosecutors during an attempt to “negotiate” a dismissal of the false criminal charges indicted Mayor Brandon King filed against me and council president Lateek Shabazz on November 15, 2023.  On April 4, 2025, McCollough and attorney Timothy Kucharski wanted me to sign a “malicious prosecution waiver” to obstruct my pursuit of criminal charges against them for their “color of law” violation of my constitutional rights. I was seated next to interim East Cleveland Mayor Sandra Morgan when Kucharski presented…

Mayor King’s wife and mother admit to 5th degree felony election falsification

CLEVELAND, OH – When East Cleveland Mayor Brandon L. King realized the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections (BOE) had bought his lie of residing at 1735 Elsinore Street, he selfishly left the room with the two lawyers who were supposed to also represent his mother, wife and two brothers.  Attorneys James Alexander and Charles Tyler.  Comments were made that King was throwing his 82-year-old mother under the bus when he left her to fend for herself. King’s mother, Norma, and brothers, Cecil, Jr. and Norman, did not fare as well as Brandon did.  Neither did King’s wife, Cleveland Clinic registered…
