CUYAHOGA COUNTY, OH – Canadian Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant stepped out together and Hollywood became curious about the woman in his life. So did we to learn she was born in Fairview Park, Ohio to aliens Norman Grant of Edinboro, Scotland and Marcia Montin of Mexico City, Mexico. Her parents married in Nigeria in 1965 and immigrated to the United States in 1969. Alexandra’s father was an assistant and associate professor at Oberlin College and a professor at Miami University.
The “Matrix” star woman’s “Wikipedia” page describes Alexandra as an “American” artist “who examines language and written texts through painting, drawing, sculpture, video and other mediums.” She and Reeves collaborated on a 2011 book called “Ode to Happiness” that’s selling on Amazon for $894.90 in hard cover and $579.80 used. (I’m not buying a copy). Grant painted and Reeves commented on her paintings about “life’s sorrows” and how not to take oneself too seriously. In 2017 the couple founded a book publishing company.
While their connection doesn’t appear to be new it appears to be new to Hollywood and the general public who actually thought Reeves was gay and once married to actor Alan Cummings.
