Justin Bibb’s got an alien Australian “deputy campaign manager” working with a diversity green card who can’t vote in any U.S. election

CLEVELAND, OH – Eden Giagnorio is a citizen of Australia and has lived in the United States of America since June 10, 2020.  She’s here as a recipient of a “Green Card” through an annual lottery that awards 55,000 “permanent resident visas” to aliens from “under-represented nations who want to live and work here.

Giagnorio on her LinkedIn page is identified as Cleveland mayoral candidate Justin Bibb’s deputy campaign manager.  The Australian citizen has not adjusted her status as a green carded worker to a “naturalized” American citizen and can’t for at least 5 years.  It means she hasn’t “renounced” her allegiance to Australia while she auditions for U.S. citizenship.

Giagnorio can’t register to vote in Ohio under our state’s laws and she knows nothing about the Buckeye state’s constitution, general laws, Cleveland’s charter and ordinances or the city’s history.  It’s doubtful she’s mastered Title 35 of the Revised Code of Ohio that controls our election laws; or is even remotely familiar with those that could get her deported.

Bibb is a “Progressive” and Giagnorio called herself migrating to our nation on June 10, 2020 to promote “Progressive” political candidates.  I would hope all of this information is included in her visa application.  He’s earned a Juris Doctorate in Law but hasn’t passed the bar exams.

“I’m here campaigning for progressive candidates and causes because I believe the world deserves a better example of leadership.”

That’s what she wrote on September 18, 2020 on Medium after living for only 100 days in the nation from the $799,000 home located at 5922 Wilton Road in Alexandria, Virginia with the Lighthouse Baptist Church almost in her backyard.  That was her temporary residence under home owner Peter McCartney Smith.  It’s the address Gagnorio listed when she made a $5 donation on February 18, 2021 to the Wisconsin campaign of Ayomi Obuseh.  The African immigrant’s campaign finance report listed that Gagnorio was “not employed.”

Gagnorio wasn’t living in the United States of America during Cleveland’s last campaign for mayor in 2017.  She was working as a “communications officer” for the “Visitor Information Centre in Victoria, Australia.  Notice I spelled “center” the Australian way by adding the “re” at the end of the word.

Right before migrating to the United States of America from 2019 until sometime in 2020, Giagnorio was a public employee of the Government of Australia’s Metropolitican Fire Brigade.  She was educated at the University of Melbourne and is on the council of the Carey Baptist Grammer School in the nation where Bibb’s deputy campaign manager retains citizenship and is still legally authorized to vote.  She’s posted how she misses “home” on her Twitter page.

As an Australian, Bibb’s deputy campaign manager was raised under a “monarchy.” The Queen of England, Elizabeth, is the Queen of Australia and has been since 1952.   They have a Parliament and not a Congress and Giagnorio’s hometown of Victoria is controlled by the democratic socialist Labour Party.  They have 2 cent and 20 cent coins in Australia.  They are also an “apartheid” nation … today.  The nation’s Aboriginal people have virtually no rights.

Out of a total population of 25 million, there are only 380,000 Australians who claim roots to Africa.  China is 4500 miles away from Australia and represent 5.5 percent of the nation’s population.  Cleveland, in contrast was once populated with 350,000 American Negroes when the city’s overall population was 870,000.

Today the city’s American Negro population is in excess of 200,000 out of 380,000.  Cuyahoga County’s American Negro population exceeds 380,000 out of 1.1 million.  Giagnorio ain’t Dorothy in the Land of Oz.

Giagnorio is the deputy campaign director of a political campaign for a mayoral candidate of a major American city whose cluelessness about the political dynamics of the nation and city she’s working in matches the cluelessness of her candidate.  Bibb’s decision to elevate Gagnorio to such a high level campaign position speaks volumes about the type of people he’d select to manage “statutory” public offices as Cleveland’s chief law enforcement officer.

The Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) prohibits any foreign national from directly or indirectly contributing money, or any other thing of value, to a political campaign for federal, state, and local elections, or to any political party.  The term “foreign national” includes foreign citizens and immigrants who are not lawfully admitted for permanent residence.

Annually, Congress sets aside 55,000 permanent resident visas as green cards to aliens with high school and college educations to compete for jobs with natural born Americans and legal immigrants with equivalent educations.  The aliens are supposed to be from countries that are under-represented in the United States of America.  Fewer than 80,000 Australians are on record as being legal residents or citizens of the United States of America.

We were at the beginning phases of the Covid panic and pandemic and reckless governors and mayors were “ordering” American workers to remain at home and businesses to close.  Trump didn’t wanted somewhat skilled alien immigrants like Giagnorio competing with Americans for work during a pandemic where jobs were already scarce.  Trump described “diversity visa” workers like Giagnorio with backgrounds in “communications” as “excess labor supply” America didn’t need at the time.

Excess labor supply affects all workers and potential workers, but it is particularly harmful to workers at the margin between employment and unemployment, who are typically “last in” during an economic expansion and “first out” during an economic contraction. In recent years, these workers have been disproportionately represented by historically disadvantaged groups, including African Americans and other minorities, those without a college degree, and the disabled. These are the workers who, at the margin between employment and unemployment, are likely to bear the burden of excess labor supply disproportionately.

Furthermore, lawful permanent residents, once admitted, are granted “open-market” employment authorization documents, allowing them immediate eligibility to compete for almost any job, in any sector of the economy. There is no way to protect already disadvantaged and unemployed Americans from the threat of competition for scarce jobs from new lawful permanent residents by directing those new residents to particular economic sectors with a demonstrated need not met by the existing labor supply.

Trump “specifically” identified aliens seeking permanent residence through the diversity lottery as restricted from entering the nation between April 22, 2020 and December 20, 2020 when he extended his order.  It wasn’t until Biden ended Trump’s restrictions on February 21, 2021 that Giagnorio would have been authorized legal entry into the United States of America.  Trump’s order included the following words:

Sec. 2. Scope of Suspension and Limitation on Entry. (a) The suspension and limitation on entry pursuant to section 1 of this proclamation shall apply only to aliens who: (i) are outside the United States on the effective date of this proclamation;  (ii) do not have an immigrant visa that is valid on the effective date of this proclamation; and (iii) do not have an official travel document other than a visa (such as a transportation letter, an appropriate boarding foil, or an advance parole document) that is valid on the effective date of this proclamation or issued on any date thereafter that permits him or her to travel to the United States and seek entry or admission.”

Before he hired Giagnorio, Bibb didn’t ask the United States Department of Labor for permission to employ the “green card holding” alien to help run his campaign.  He simply ignored the thousands of capable campaign managers who already exist among the natural born population of Americans in Cleveland and Ohio.

After the Australian national joined Bibb, he issued a hypocritical March 5, 2021 statement announcing his support for President Joseph Robinette Biden to end a federal ban on “local hiring programs” on federally funded projects like the now outlawed Fannie Lewis law.

“Local hire programs would provide access to jobs for Cleveland residents on large projects while at the same time ensuring racial and economic equity. The pandemic has made ending the ban even more crucial as we work toward rebuilding our economy,” Bibb said.

It appears that after being told to stay in Australia last year by a presidential order dated April 22, 2020, Gagnorio ignored our president’s instructions and the former official of the Government of Australia arrived in the United States of America  to interfere with our elections 100 days before September 18, 2020 or on or around June 10, 2020.

“I was interviewed at the U.S. Consulate on the same date Donald Trump was inaugurated as President of the United States (January 20, 2020) and my Green Card arrived in the mail on Barack Obama’s birthday (August 4, 2020).  The world conspires in your favor,” Gagnorio wrote on Medium website.  She doesn’t answer how “the world” conspired in her favor to cross over the United States’ border.

Had Giagnorio obeyed Trump’s August 22, 2020 proclamation she would have lost her 2020 visa opportunity among the more than 40,000 aliens affected by his decision to protect American workers.  Pursuant to Title 8 of the United States Code, Section 1154(a)(1)(I)(II), “diversity visa selectees “shall remain eligible to receive such visa only through the end of the specific fiscal year for which they were selected.”  The instructions below were issued by the United States Department of State to visa applicants like Giagnorio.

DV-2020 applicants whose visas will expire before December 31, 2020 when Proclamation 10014 is currently due to expire, will be unable to immigrate on that visa, unless they are exempt from the Proclamation, and cannot be issued a new visa after September 30, 2020.  DV applicants are reminded that if they were either in the United States, or held a valid immigrant visa on April 23, when Presidential Proclamation 10014 went into effect, they are exempt from the Proclamation.  DV applicants who held valid DV visas on April 23 but were unable to travel and whose visas have since expired, may pay applicable visa fees to have the DV re-issued visa before September 30, 2020.

Since Trump’s April 22, 2020 executive order came before Giagnorio’s June 10, 2020 arrival, he essentially cancelled her visa application.  She would have had to apply in 2021 for the 2022 diversity visa lottery after Biden lifted Trump’s order in on February 21, 2021.  Delay didn’t appear to fall into Bibb’s deputy campaign manager’s plans.

“I made a promise to myself to get involved in this election because peoples’ lives are on the line and the integrity of democracy is at stake. That was true then and it is a devastating reality now,” the Australian wrote on the website Medium and posted on September 18, 2020.  “Trump’s rhetoric is dangerous and it’s not just affecting Americans, it’s changing politics in every corner of the globe.”

No American lives were “on the line” simply because Giagnorio wasn’t living in the United States of America and adding her “Progressive” and political job stealing presence to our political discussions.  The “take home” lesson for Giagnorio’s presence in American politics is that she’s now a very visible liability for Bibb.

Based on a 2010 Australian news story she’s around 26 or 27.  Her LinkedIn page shows no previous political campaign work in Australia and nothing in the United States of America except Bibb’s.  Whatever she learned in Australia is of no relevance to America so Giagnorio brings no special political skills to Cleveland’s political discussions as a non-voting alien.

Bibb should also be required to answer how his Australian alien worker got past Trump’s proclamation.  If his campaign won’t protect the jobs of natural born American citizens who are “deputy campaign manager” material, contractors can’t expect him to protect them from the family of Albanian aliens with multiple demolition companies stealing contracts from American companies and jobs from American workers.

Everything about Bibb’s campaign for Cleveland mayor portrays him as a candidate who doesn’t have a clue about the job; and whose only interest is in name boosting and image building.
