CLEVELAND, OH – Dennis Kucinich might as well save himself the humiliation of another losing run for Cleveland mayor now that he works for the Kremlin’s Russia Today anti-U.S. propaganda machine.  He’ll be too distracted explaining his role as a tool for Vladmir Putin’s television network.

Anyone thinking of a Kucinich presence in the 2021 Cleveland mayoral campaign should see the fun they could have with him.  Kucinich would have to attend a Kathy Wray Coleman hosted mayor’s debate at Angie B’s or at the Lee Harvard Community Center.  He will “definitely” hear the shit talking that will come with a more than few jokes about being on Putin’s payroll.  Does he get paid in rubles or dollars?  The flip side is he might face a criminal complaint with the U.S. DOJ from a creative competitor for being an unregistered agent of the Russian government.

The Russia Today thing is beyond concerning because Kucinich is being paid through the Russian government to push its perspective of American politics and policy into the consciousness of this nation’s citizens.  With Putin law firms Jones Day and Squire, Patton & Boggs headquartered out of Cleveland with offices in Moscow his presence in Cleveland city hall would bring the Russian connection into the city’s government.  Kucinich wasn’t a paid agent of the Russian government when he campaigned for mayor in 1977.

Putin created Rossiya Segodnya or Russia Today by executive order on November 9, 2013.  In his order Russia’s president also reorganized the Kremlin’s official newspaper, Rossiiskaya Gazeta.  Putin also “liquidated”  Russian State Radio Broadcasting Company Voice of Russia, and Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian News and Information Agency RIA Novosti. America’s press has “free speech” rights.  Russia’s doesn’t.

Unless he’s operating under a production company, the U.S. DOJ’s FARA registration search engine doesn’t show Kucinich registering as a “foreign agent” with the United States Department of Justice. Federal prosecutors told the Kremlin’s editor-in-chief, Margarita Simonyan, to either register the company and its agents by November 13, 2017 or be dealt with … legally.  FARA violations are criminal. She complied along with RT’s production companies.  Better to be identified as a propaganda tool instead of depriving the nation’s 6 million Russian Americans, 1.6 percent of the U.S. population, of news from “home.” 

Simonyan wrote in Russian on her Twitter page that the Kremlin’s media propaganda machine thought about fighting, but decided against it.  Foreign agents don’t get to act like real journalists while spreading propaganda to American citizens.  Instead they chose to retaliate against U.S. media companies.  Good.  They shouldn’t be allowed to infiltrate foreign thoughts into American thinking.  This nation’s reporters and media outlets should be American-owned and operated.

In Congress Kucinich pushed the Croatian agenda into the Congressional Record when he asked that the once Nazi nation be admitted into NATO in December 2005.  Croatia became a full NATO member on April 1, 2009.  His words in 2005 showed a strong affinity for another once-Nazi nation’s people.

“Croatia desires to be in NATO to protect itself from outside forces. I want to make sure Croatia is protected from threats to freedom of expression inside the country of Croatia. When Croatia was struggling for its independence and survival I was one of the American political figures who challenged my own government for its lack of support for Croatia at a critical hour. I take great pride in my Croatian heritage. My grandfather was born in what is now Croatia. I take pride in the achievements of my Croatian brothers and sisters in Croatia, America and around the world  On Russia Today he sided with the Russian government over the Ukraine; and literally encouraged an invasion.”

On March 5, 2014 Kucinich’s employer, Russia Today, featured a story of his blaming the U.S. for provoking Russia to attack the Ukraine. The Kremlin’s television network followed up with a heavily-edited and chopped news report that showed Dennis dogging Bill O’Reilly. 

The full interview showed O’Reilly dogging Kucinich’s pro-Kremlin perspective views as out-of-pocket.  What RT’s audience saw was a Russian propagandist delivering a highly-edited version of their discussion after she called O’Reilly’s perspective “fear mongering” and labled his positions on Russian politics as “hate filled.”  O’Reilly “actually” said the following and more.

“I don’t want to get involved in Ukrainian politics.  So you’re blaming us for it.  When China seizes the Japanese islands, which they’re going to do after watching this debacle, then I want you to come back and explain how the United States made that happen.”

With Slavic Village now being majority-Negro the Eastern European ethnic coalitions that helped him and Ralph Perk has left the city, county or state.  Whatever he says he plans to do he didn’t do as mayor; and he’d be selling “hope” not substance.

One of the acts he did commit was to assign Cleveland police to investigate and file charges with a racist Irish Catholic prosecuting attorney named John T. Corrigan against George Forbes and 7 other Negro councilmen and women.  Seven of the eight councilmen were Negro.  18 politicians and city workers were indicted in what was then called “the Carnival Kickback Scheme.”  This was in 1978. 

Corrigan’s prosecutions fell apart when Call & Post publisher William O. Walker exposed how Mary Rose Oakar had been dropped from prosecution after she hired his daughter to work in her D.C. congressional office.  Forbes was acquitted. 

Kucinich narrowly-survived a recall and was beaten by the late George Voinovich in 1979 when mayoral and council terms were two-years; and the city’s council consisted of 33 members.  He served one term as mayor.  Folk were fucked up when he made a 19-year-old Betty Grdina his service director.

There’s a reason that despite the similarity of their names, Kucinich and Voinovich were not friends … at all.  The Croatians Kucinich wanted admitted into NATO massacred Voinovich’s Serbian brethren for the Nazis during World War II.  They also operated extermination camps in the nation.  15 of them in all.  The largest being Jasenovac.  It’s too bad “American” politicans with foreign ancestry simply don’t leave that old Eastern European bullshit behind.  Dual loyalty is “infiltration.”

Putins’ editor-in-chief ran her mouth about “freedom of the press” in the U.S. as if media outlets owned by foreign governments have the same 1st Amendment rights as media owned by “real Americans.”  When confronted with the FARA law that ordered RT to register with the USDOJ or else; she didn’t know the law was specifically-enacted in 1938  to deal with media outlets like hers spreading  Nazi propaganda to U.S. citizens.  All of this nation’s “espionage laws” strip aliens of rights to spread foreign dissension and division within this nation.  Besides, only a fool would believe anything on an English-language Russian government-owned news network called Russia Today.

Kucinich’s media boss, Putin, sounded comical when he used these words in defense of his being able to spread propanganda inside the U.S.

“An attack on our media in the US is an attack on the freedom of speech beyond all doubt.”  Yeah.  Okay.

Putin’s media outlet even got a Negro, Alamu Baraka, who was Jill Stein’s vice presidential candidate on the Green Party ticket in 2016 to back him.  Nina Turner declined Stein’s offer.  RT described Baraka as a “noted” activist.  Has anyone in Cleveland ever heard of him?  On cue Baraka ripped CNN as being a tool of the capitalists after blasting the U.S. government “for” Russia’s.  His tweet comes across like that of a paid Russian agent.  He must think he’s Paul Robeson.

I know Dennis.  He asked me to serve as his campaign spokesman in 1986 when he announced a campaign for Ohio governor.  I agreed.  A visit to my house and a meeting with my wife at the time was eye-opening.  He dropped out a couple of weeks later.   I  haven’t seen him in years, but we were cool the last time we saw each other. His late safety director, James Barrett’s wife, was married to my cousin’s wife’s sister.

Some people like the thrill of a political campaign and doing the old “greet the people” thing.  That doesn’t seem to the case with Kucinich.  Especially with his work for the Russian government’s propaganda tool.

Because of Kucinich’s paid relationship with the Russian government, more than one Clevelander will wonder and may ask during mayoral debates if he’s been “directed” into the 2021 Cleveland mayor’s race by Putin through his editor.
